Central Billing Party

In the summer of 1998, I worked at AT&T in the Central Billing Party (CBP), an organization that provides consolidated billing services to the consortia of international telecommunications companies that own submarine cable lines.

I was brought in as an intern to develop a web site for the CBP that would allow its customers, the companies that own bandwidth on the cables, to access their billing and payment information online. The site I developed used the CBP's existing Microsoft Access billing database, with some modifications. I tied this to a web-based front end that could be accessed securely through AT&T's firewall and which limited customers' access to only that information which concerned them.

Unfortunately, due to the proprietary nature of this project, I can't show any part of it in my portfolio.
